- Thanks for the info. Another reply indicated the problem (such as it is)
- can be solved with the addition of a couple of pieces of software to help
- tweak the SCSI controler.

- I did see a series of messages on CIS a few months ago from a guy with
- the same setup as mine (3000 w/ Syquest ) and _his_ system would not boot
- even after waiting hours if no cart was in the drive. Not sure how (or
- if) he resolved this, perhaps just by keeping a cart in the drive.
