  14. Thanks for the info. Another reply indicated the problem (such as it is) 
  15. can be solved with the addition of a couple of pieces of software to help 
  16. tweak the SCSI controler.

  18. I did see a series of messages on CIS a few months ago from a guy with 
  19. the same setup as mine (3000 w/ Syquest ) and _his_ system would not boot 
  20. even after waiting hours if no cart was in the drive. Not sure how (or 
  21. if) he resolved this, perhaps just by keeping a cart in the drive.
